For me, it's always been about writing.

Words carry immense power and can enact real-world changes through storytelling. It allows us to gain insight, understanding, and empathy for others.

Due to these reasons, I chose to pursue a degree in Journalism & Mass Communications with minors in Gender & Women's Studies and Digital Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I hope to use my degrees to assist individuals and communities tell their stories to advocate for the changes they wish to see in our world. I'd like to work within the nonprofit sector or for a organization whose missions align with my own passions; those being disability rights, community education and engagement, policy advocacy, media literacy, labor rights, and environmentalism.

I pride myself in being curious, compassionate, collaborative, and committed to intersectionality and inclusivity. I embody these values in all of the work I do.
